What the hell, summer?

Today is unreasonably hot. Just unbearable. I am actually physically damp right now. That is just not an okay thing to be. I thought this was the Pacific Northwest, Where it downpours constantly!

I love saturday!

I've had a good day today! Wiley brought me home early and then took off down south for his bargain hunting needs, so I hung out at home and eventually got myself off the couch to go take a bike ride.

I took the cruiser out, and headed down to the interurban trail. It is an incredibly beautiful day, So I rode out to fairhaven and got a cupcake and a bike back for Red, the grocery bike. I would like to get a nice waterproof cargo trailer for it eventually, but for now I have a cool old gym basket. I'm going to get some zip ties so that it will stay put. I installed it at the Hub, which was very pleasant. I think I even did a decent job!

Tonight is a pool party/ barbecue, which I am very excited about. I got a nice vintage bathing suit to show off in, and I love hot dogs and beer. Its a thing. Also! Tracy is rolling into town tonight, so things just get better and better.

For the meantime, however, I am on the couch, digesting a beer, looking at the interwebs in the nice cool shade. I like it!

Depressing night last night!

And not even any beer to excuse it. I'm off to bathe, breakfast, and renew my passport! I'm one busy lady these days.

Sad thoughts tonight

I've been thinking about someone lately, someone I shouldn't be thinking about because they get under my skin and the memories won't leave me alone. It breaks my heart and makes me hopeful at the same time, and these feelings are hard to live with.

I woke up in pain last night. Cramps, seizing my body and pulling me out of my dreams and comfort and sleep. I wasn't all the way awake, so I didn't have control over it, other then to BE and FEEL and EXPERIENCE the feeling until it subsided and I could slip back into the oceans of my unconscious.

I like the idea of a whole world just below my conscious mind. Its a universe that belongs to me, and only me. And not even I can touch it.

Am I A Genius?!

I fucking love my dinner tonight! I baked chicken, zucchini, pre-cooked Andouille sausage, and feta all together for almost 40 minutes (I think. It was well done). Its wonderful! I'm pretty thrilled, and may keep eating it. Healthy and tasty? shocking!

Long time, no blog

Whoa, talk about not keeping up with things. I know that there is no real audience for this blog, but I should be keeping it up regardless, if only for good practice.

The last several weeks have been pretty wild and busy. I finished finals, visited some family, and started my job, which has been going on for two weeks now! Overall it was a good last couple of weeks, although I still feel like I'm waiting for something to happen.

Well, that's actually a lie, right now I am waiting to finish this up and go home and eat. We'll see how quickly that happens.
